WHAT ARE YOUR DREAMS MADE OF?
A virtual artist-in-residence for creators with an idea they’re ready to BRING TO LIFE.
You've been waiting for the right time.
You've been gathering inspiration, refining the idea, telling yourself you'll start when things feel calmer, more stable. But what if that moment never actually arrives?
The world feels too chaotic. There's real hurt, pain, and grief demanding our attention. The hesitation to move forward makes sense — we're in protection mode.
But what if the work is to make something beautiful anyway? Right here, in this season?
you'll find a rhythm that holds you without suffocating you, that helps you breathe new life into your work, that encourages you to keep going, no matter how slowly you move.
You'll have kind and creative witnesses who won't let you quietly disappear when the work gets hard.
And you'll finally have proof that you can choose an idea and see it through because you crafted a plan that works with your life, not in spite of it.
This residency is your container for that commitment: twelve weeks to focus deeply on the idea that keeps coming back, without the pressure of perfection or the weight of doing it completely alone.
Despite what you may hear, you don't need to commit to every idea. Try committing to one thing this spring and see what happens.

Creative entrepreneurs, writers, coaches, artists of all disciplines, serial idea people, designers, creators, and curious minds with something brewing.
You don’t have to identify as an “artist.” You just need an idea you want to show up for, and a willingness to return to it each week with the support of others doing the same.
Struggle with having too many ideas and not enough focus
Want to build something without the pressure of a full course
Long for structure and support without giving up creative freedom
Would love access to a creative director & other inspiring idea people
Crave a season of inspired action after a difficult winter
THIS RESIDENCY CHANGES THINGS.
Not just the tangible stuff (though yes, you'll make real progress on your idea).
But also: You'll stop the negative self-talk. You'll quit making unrealistic expectations and getting mad at yourself for not meeting them. You'll build confidence that everyone around you can see and feel. You'll find courage to build an idea that matters to you in ways you didn't expect.
This cohort is filled with people who care enough to gently drag you back to your 'why' when you're considering slipping out the back door.
These are your witnesses and your personal board of directors who will check in and say 'Hey, I'm thinking of you' because they actually want you to finish the thing.
You won't just show up for weekly calls and leave. You'll text each other between sessions. You'll order from each other's businesses. You'll add their launch dates to your calendar. You'll become actual friends who genuinely care whether you finish the thing.
That kind of community
changes you.

A twelve-week container to help you make meaningful progress on one single idea. We’ll start with a kickoff call to get grounded, then move through a lightly guided cohort experience designed to support your creative momentum.
New this season: a group mapping call to explore our ideas in real-time. Make plans to be there: March 10, 10am-12pm CT.
Each week, we’ll host live Gatherings for artists-in-residence to help you pause, reflect, and reconnect with your idea. These will be residency-specific calls held inside our membership platform, Circle, for support, brainstorming, and encouragement.
You’ll use the Foundry Map framework to chart your idea’s journey. This framework helps you name your Inspired Idea, define your Minimum Viable Magic, and walk through the phases of Architecture, Infrastructure, and Momentum. You’ll learn to zoom in (tasks), zoom out (strategy), and reconnect with your high-level vision so you avoid the stuck/spin-out cycle of the messy middle.
Residency happens inside The Studio, The Inspired Foundry’s virtual creative community. Think of it like an ongoing campfire for entrepreneurs, artists, and idea people. As a resident, you’ll get full access to the Studio’s events, resource library, and chat spaces all season long.
At the start of your residency, you’ll receive a beautifully designed digital workbook to map your residency project. Inside: space to define your idea, check in monthly, track progress, and navigate the emotional and strategic terrain of building something meaningful. Structure meets artistic soul, obviously.
I'm Karla, a fellow artist — violinist, creative director, amateur illustrator, mostly decent writer — and an idea-mapping-obsessed wannabe cheesemonger. I've spent the last five years building The Inspired Foundry into a trusted space and creative haven where artists & entrepreneurs find support for the (often overlooked) messy middle and inspiration to keep doing their best work.
Do you also believe good questions and good bread can fix almost anything?
If so, we should probably be friends. Glad you're here.
This map is the foundation of your residency experience - I'd love to show you what it's all about. Drop your email and I'll send you a PDF version of it to look through.
It's a wayfinding tool for the messy middle. Visionary infrastructure for your ideas. Soulful utility. A creative take on project management that meets you where you are, but doesn't let you stay stuck there.
At the conclusion of the residency, you'll have a few options.
1. Say your goodbyes and head off into the spring sunset with your idea and a job well done.
2. Join The Studio for the next season of deep work in community
3. Or stick around for the next seasonal residency at a discounted rate for another three months of intentional support!
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE RESIDENCY?
The Studio is the membership platform (hosted on Circle) where all members — both Studio and Residency — gather for co-working, workshops, and community.
Studio membership gives you access to the space and flexible support.
Artist Residency gives you all of that PLUS weekly artist-only gatherings, a private cohort, and a 60-min 1:1 session.
Think of it like: everyone's in The Studio. Artists-in-Residence just have their own dedicated program within it.
WHAT IS THE STUDIO?
Once you checkout, you'll be taken to an intake form to answer some initial questions about your residency experience. You'll be able to book a 1:1 onboarding call with me so we can chat through your residency together, and then you are welcome to explore The Studio spaces and the dedicated artist-in-residence spaces inside our membership platform, Circle. The Residency officially kicks off on March 2.
